Additional information such as savings preferences and transaction history may also be collected when Users use our Saving Products feature.

Eziplug does not knowingly collect information from persons under 18 years of age. If such data is discovered, it will be deleted immediately.

4. How We Use Data

We use collected data to provide services, ensure security, verify identity (KYC/AML), process transactions, enhance user experience, conduct research, send communications, and comply with legal obligations. For Saving Products, data may also be used to calculate interest, track deposits, and enable withdrawals.

8. Camera Permission Usage

The Eziplug mobile application requires access to your device's camera (android.permission.CAMERA) to provide specific features within the app. Our usage of this permission is governed by the following principles:

  • Purpose: The camera is used exclusively for necessary features such as identity verification (KYC), scanning QR codes for transactions, or capturing required documents for gift card trading.
  • User Control: Camera access is only activated when you explicitly trigger a feature that requires it. You have the right to deny this permission, though it may limit your access to certain features.
  • Data Privacy: Any images or data captured via the camera are processed only for the intended purpose and are not stored or shared with third parties without your explicit consent.
  • No Background Usage: We do not access your camera in the background or without your knowledge. There is no hidden camera usage in Eziplug.
  • Compliance: Our use of the camera permission is in full compliance with Google Play’s Developer Program Policies regarding user privacy and data protection.
